Carts, disposables or pods?
A 510 cartridge screws onto a separate battery. It is the most common setup, and once you own a battery, every new cart is just the oil. A disposable is battery and oil in one: use it until it is empty and you are done. Pods click into a matching device from the same brand and will not fit anything else.
Brand new to vaping? A disposable is the simplest start. Plan to keep at it? A 510 battery and carts usually works out cheaper over time.
Choosing THC vape carts in Clovis, NM
Read the size and the potency separately. Size is how much oil is in the cart, usually 0.5 g or 1 g. Some labels write that as 500 mg or 1000 mg, which is the weight of the oil, not the amount of THC. Potency is the THC percentage of that oil.
Then look at the oil type. Distillate is refined THC, usually with terpenes added back for flavor. Live resin and live rosin carts are made from fresh-frozen plants and tend to taste more like the actual strain. They usually cost a little more.
Battery compatibility
Nearly every cart uses 510 threading, so it screws onto any 510 battery. Some wide 1 g carts will not sit flush on slim pens, and most carts taste burnt if the voltage is set too high. Start low and work up. We keep 510 batteries and vape devices on the smoke shop side.
Cart oil is a concentrate, so it counts toward New Mexico's 16-gram concentrate limit, not the flower limit. If you are buying a lot at once, the cart keeps track for you.
